Goodbye Yeller Brick Road: The Final Tour

The twice Grammy-winning Lewis Black is heading on his final stand-up comedy show, 'Goodbye Yeller Brick Road: The Final Tour.' Black is the perfect demonstration of that rare comic who can make you laugh while making compelling points about the absurdity of the world around you. Famed for his angry persona on both stage and cable, don't miss your chance to see the comedic legend live for his final tour!

His work as an actor includes Once in a Lifetime, Camino Real, The Matchmaker and Dead End. Black also established the Bill Foeller Fellowship for emerging young directors at the Williamstown Theatre Festival.

In 2001, he won the Best Male Stand-Up at the American Comedy Awards. He has also produced six comedy CD albums, including the 2007 Grammy-Award winning The Carnegie Hall Performance. Lewis Black won his second Grammy Award with his most recent CD Stark Raving Black for best comedy album. Lewis has also written two best-selling books, Nothing Sacred and Me of Little Faith and his latest is, I'm Dreaming of a Black Christmas.

Lewis Black at the Paramount in Denver

Lewis was in rare form, and his show was fabulous! For some reason, the audience had several obnoxious women close to the stage hooting, and hollering during his show. It took a while, but he owned them after a while. Finally, more than halfway through the show, one incredibly obnoxious woman was escorted out after he had to stop his show to deal with her. It was amazing to watch him ad lib and jump seemingly effortlessly back into his routine. Managers of future events, please usher people like this out MUCH sooner, so the Pro can do his thing. …still a great, great show! ... Read more
